The Solar Plexus



Chances are that if you have stumbled upon this blog post that you have been led here by spirit.


If you have been struggling and feel unworthy, unwanted, unsure of yourself, incapable, not enough, unhappy, or unsuccessful you may have imbalances in your solar plexus.


What is the solar plexus? The solar plexus chakra is an energy center of the body that is located above your navel. This chakra is yellow in color and deals with self worth, success, self esteem, personal power, inspiration, and happiness.


There are many ways to heal any imbalances in your chakras. You can practice meditation, recite affirmations, practice yoga, work with gemstones associated with the specific chakra, and use essential oils. Some other ways are asking for help from your team in spirit ( they can’t help if you don’t ask!), spending time in nature, and by having energy work done.


Some solar plexus stones you can work with are sunstone, citrine, amber, honey calcite, and tiger eye. When choosing crystals be sure to pick the ones you are most drawn to. You can do this by choosing which one catches your eye or by holding the crystal in your left hand and connecting with the energy of the stone. If you like the energy it gives off then that’s the one! If not, keep looking.


To heal this chakra you can meditate with these crystals, wear them as jewelry, place them on your upper abdomen while laying down, or carry them in your left pocket.


Essential oils that work for this chakra are lemongrass, lemon, coriander, fennel, clary sage, myrrh, bergamot, and cedar wood. Apply a very small amount just above your navel or you can put in a diffuser.


Healing affirmations are also excellent way to help balance your chakras and reprogram yourself to be more positive and high vibrational. Here are some affirmations that work for the solar plexus chakra. Repeat each affirmation three times:


I AM worthy.

I AM powerful.

I AM successful.

I have high self esteem.

I matter.

I set clear and healthy boundaries.

I AM perfect just as I am.

I AM enough.
